Spicenet is building the first brokerage network for DeFi, with a goal of enabling universal access to the top DeFi venues across all ecosystems. Currently, users experience DeFi as a fragmented landscape. Devs struggle with more risks and trade-offs than necessary.

We experienced these problems firsthand and set out to build a suite of products that minimize fragmentation while maximizing better financial outcomes. What we’re building is not a new standard or a new chain or a new bridge.

Spicenet is offering two distinct products (Spice Flow and Spice Edge) that require two simple things to work:

• A Spicenet adapter (smart contract) deployed to a chain, enabling clients and users to provide collateral on their native chain so they can sponsor execution on a different chain. In effect, adapters create a network of interconnected chains apps can leverage.
• A simple frontend integration that allows devs to leverage our products within their apps and unlock distribution and composable execution across connected chains, all without redeploying or rewriting their smart contracts.

We have locked in several partnerships with key chains where we have or will deploy our adapters. Of note, adapters can also be deployed permissionlessly within a day based on demand. We’re also currently working with app developers to integrate Spice Flow and soon, Spice Edge.

Crypto thrives on transparency and today we’re happy to share our roadmap: the timeline that will get us to Spicenet Mainnet.

SEPTEMBER 2025: SPICE FLOW goes live in testnet

Spice Flow is our first product. It’s designed to solve distribution in DeFi through a single integration.

What it is: An API/SDK for scalable distribution that makes your app and assets feel native to users anywhere. Think of it as a distribution plug: connect once, and your app can instantly reach users across ecosystems.

OCTOBER 2025: SPICE EDGE goes live in testnet

If Spice Flow solves the problem of distribution, Spice Edge is designed to unlock new use cases. With Spice Edge, we’re giving developers direct access to execution across the best DeFi venues.

What it is: A composable execution API/SDK that connects your app to top liquidity venues, financial instruments, and yield sources across integrated chains.

Who it’s for:

EOY 2025: MAINNET

Mainnet is where Spicenet’s vision becomes real. With both Spice Flow and Spice Edge going live on our mainnet, and by extension, on the mainnets of partner chains, apps will be able to use our products in production environments for the first time.

• What it means for apps: Flow and Edge move from testnet experiments into live integrations. Developers can distribute natively across chains, execute on top liquidity venues, and serve users in production.
• What it means for Spicenet: Our network-owned liquidity will also go live with mainnet, powering Spicenet as the first brokerage network for DeFi.

This liquidity network is central to our mission and deserves its own spotlight—details on how it will be bootstrapped, how SPICE fits in, and how the community can participate will follow soon.

Mainnet will mark the transition from building in isolation to operating as a live, composable brokerage network, serving all of DeFi.
